Our friend Brittany Daniel, a Delray Beach native, is a talented photographer who recently took us around Palm Beach, capturing all the beauty along the way. From stunning beaches, charming hotels, must-try restaurants, and more–Palm Beach is a lively and unique place that's perfect for quick weekend getaways or long summer stays.

where to stay
The Colony
155 Hammon Avenue, Palm Beach, FL 33480
This pink-hued hotel has the most beautiful interiors and is located steps away from the beach and historic Worth Avenue. I could stare at the Degournay wallpaper all day—it is simply stunning! Swiftys by the pool is a a great spot for lunch or brunch with the best ambiance and people watching. To top it all off, The Colony makes getting around easy with the cutest pink golf cart that shuttles you around the island.
White Elephant
280 Sunset Avenue, Palm Beach, Florida 33480
This Nantucket favorite just opened up a Palm Beach outpost. Its black and white striped awnings and terra-cotta roof tiles make for a simply charming atmosphere. The hotel’s restaurant, Lola 41, serves everything from sushi to east coast oysters and burgers. My favorite thing on the menu is the poke “nachos” (so good!).
where to eat
There are so many good spots on the island! I seriously don’t think you can go wrong.
Le Bilboquet
245 Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, FL 33480
I love Le Bilboquet for date night. The courtyard offers a lush setting for dinner, and the nickel-top bar offers unique and tasty cocktails.
Pizza Al Fresco
14 Via Mizner, Palm Beach, FL 33480
A great spot for the whole family is Pizza Al Fresco. It offers simple but delicious lunch or dinner with lots of outdoor seating in their beautiful courtyard, just off one of the many vias. The cutest little gelato shop is conveniently right around the corner. We never miss the opportunity to stop at Piccolo Gelato for a sweet treat. They have THE best homemade waffle cones!
Buccan
350 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480
If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Buccan. The menu features lots of small plates made with fresh ingredients that are consistently delicious. And I always finish dinner with their warm chocolate chip cookie. Their sister-spots, Imoto and The Sandwich Shop, are right next door and just as fantastic!
where to shop
Worth Avenue
251 Worth Avenue Palm Beach, FL 33480
Worth Avenue is the quintessential Palm Beach experience and offers the best shopping from both big-name brands and local boutiques. I love to stop into Aerin for a mix of her line and other chic brands. Leta Austin Foster Boutique is my go-to for the most beautiful selection of children's clothing. As you walk west along the avenue (with the ocean behind you) you will start to see “vias" leading you off the main avenue and toward more shops and restaurants. These quaint, pedestrian-only Mediterranian-style alleyways are one of my favorite elements of shopping in Palm Beach.
The Church Mouse
374 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480
A gem on the island is The Church Mouse. I have found so many treasures at this beloved thrift store over the years. Everything is donated by the island’s chic locals, and sales benefit Bethesda-by-the-Sea.
Royal Poinciana Plaza
340 Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach, FL 33480
The Royal Poinciana Plaza is just a short drive from Worth Avenue. It features shopping and dining around a beautiful green space and garden. Beach carries my favorite swimwear from Marysia. I love the hand-embroidered cashmere sweaters from Lingua Frances. Zimmerman is a great place to grab beautiful dresses for your vacation. And during season, there is a Soul-Cycle PopUp which offers outdoor spin. Celis Produce (all locally sourced) is a great spot to enjoy a smoothie or juice post shopping or spin.
where to play
Flagpole Beach
201-291 Ocean Ter, Palm Beach, FL 33480
The beaches, of course, are gorgeous. At the end of Worth Avenue and right around the corner from The Colony, you will find the iconic Flagpole Beach. For a more quiet and peaceful beach, I recommend the dune beaches at the North End.
Palm Beach Lake Trail
S Lake Trail, Palm Beach, FL 33480
The Lake Trail is the perfect way to see Palm Beach. It goes around the entire island and along the intercostal waterway. You can bike or walk, but my favorite way to get around is to rollerblade while my kids ride their scooters. Sprinkles is a Palm Beach staple for ice cream that we often visit after riding around the trail.
